The work of artist Scott Young, the neon installation holds a little secret: look closely and every so often, the “e” disappears, leaving behind “Wish You Were Her.”

The flicker is no accident. Young created the effect using a component he originally designed for Hollywood — turning a bit of technical sleight of hand into something far more sentimental.
