Artist in Residence

Our RiNo neighborhood, or River North Art District, is known as the place “where art is made” in Denver, as evidenced by the colorful murals that adorn the creative studios, workshops and music halls that line the streets. As the first hotel to open in the neighborhood, we’ve been a patron to the arts through the years through collaborations with independent artists and the River North Arts District.

As such, our Artist in Residence Program introduces a new artist to guests each quarter with engaging events, exhibits and exclusive merchandise. Through the different activations, locals and guests have the opportunity to get to know the artist, see them working up close and, in some cases, participate in experiential workshops and classes.

A cornerstone of each residency is a limited-edition, custom screen-printed bandana, designed by the artist exclusively for The Ramble Hotel and offered for sale in each guestroom with proceeds going directly back to the artist.

If you are an artist interested in an upcoming residency, please email us at AIR@theramblehotel.com and provide details about your work (including a link to, or attachments of, imagery), a brief summary of why you’re interested and your availability for the forthcoming year. Each quarterly Artist in Residence will receive:

  • Artwork showcased in the hotel lobby, along with an artist plaque
  • Event space for one art exhibit/showcase in one of our event spaces
  • Screen printed banadanas for sale and artist info card in each room. Proceeds go directly to artist.
  • Engaging local/guest-facing event held at the hotel
  • PR support in media
  • Social promotion across both Ramble and Death & Co channels, including photoshoot with hotel content manager, shared with artist for personal use
